Last Stages of Developments

We might not have had an AppCoins Wallet release in the last couple of weeks, but we are close to publishing an important new feature.

Carrier Billing

The important feature we’ve been working on is a new payment method. The carrier billing time has come.

This new payment method was already mentioned in many of our previous ANUs. We think that when compared with other payment methods, carrier billing allows for a frictionless payment, with everything you need to pay on your smartphone.

Also, as previously mentioned in other articles, we are going for a slow rollout of the feature: starting with one country and then focusing on a larger number of countries. We will also first integrate it in the purchase flow (except for the top-up flow for now).

We are doing the final steps of the development with most of the process already working in our dev environment, and after that, we will start our testing phase. Stay tuned for the next few days, and be the first to make purchases with your SIM card.

Wallet Validation

Something we’ve already been working on since last week is the new wallet validation flow. This is not a new feature because you already have it available in the AppCoins Wallet, and you can validate your wallet by using an SMS.
