ANU #76 — New Wallet Updates and Design Improvements

Welcome to the AppCoins News Update, ‘ANU’ for short. This week, we’re focusing on the AppCoins wallet and carrier billing. Read on to find more!

New Release
A new version of the AppCoins Wallet is currently being tested. This new update contains features mentioned in the previous ANU, such as improvements and bugs corrections.
Reverted Transactions Layout
One of the features we have previously mentioned is the new layout for reverted transactions. It will include information such as the date of the transaction and which specific transaction was reverted. We recommend that you check out some of the previous ANUs to learn even more details about this new feature, or simply have a look at the samples below.

Onboarding Update
The first contact with the wallet is the onboarding screen, which includes information about the different features of the AppCoins Wallet.
If you recall, some time ago we canceled a feature that was part of the user incentives program. This feature rewarded users with AppCoins Credits when they played a game for a certain amount of time (aka Proof of Attention or PoA). Since this feature is no longer available, we’ve made a minor update to make sure that it isn’t shown in the boarding pages to avoid misleading the users.
New Wallet Backup Layout
As mentioned previously, a new design update for backing up the wallet is going to be part of the next release. This layout offers users the possibility of adding a password to their wallet, and warns that they should back up their wallet (and password) as, due to the blockchain platform, there isn’t any mechanism to recover it if the user loses it.
