It’s been a stellar week for Gifto as the team traveled to Korea and Taiwan for major product and partnership announcements at the Blockchain Open Forum (Korea) and Asian Blockchain Summit (Taiwan). We’d like to use this week’s post as an opportunity to summarize everything:
We announced the expanded Gifto 2.0 vision at two of Asia’s biggest blockchain events
At both the Blockchain Open Forum (Korea) and Asia Blockchain Summit (Taiwan) we announced an expanded Gifto vision in our keynote addresses to thousands of participants and viewers online.
Our new vision for Gifto sees us becoming a token for entertainment with decentralized apps for content creators, gaming, charity, and commerce. We will continue to build the universal gifting protocol but will not limit Gifto just to the protocol; and are pursuing many opportunities that leverage the strength of the Gifto token community, Gifto wallet technology, and our experience in developing consumer entertainment and KOL products.
To back up this new vision, we announced several major partnerships in Korea and Taiwan (more info on partners below) and demonstrated to the world Gifto being used in Uplive as well as our new engraving on the blockchain feature.
At the conferences our “Gifto experience” booths were also a big hit, with hundreds of crypto-investors and industry thought leaders personally coming up to set up Gifto wallets and experience using Gifto in Uplive with streamers. In an industry that still relies on boring whitepapers and brochures to communicate lofty technical goals, people actually had fun at our booths while learning about Gifto.
