Now that you have installed the theme it is time to change some basic settings, such as the titel of your blog. Another interessing option is exclude. This prevents specific files to be copied to your static site output directory, _site . Normally, when you place a file in your Jekyll working directory, Jekyll will include it in your static site output.
For this blog the _config.yml looks as follows:
title: Spill the beans
exclude: [ README.md, LICENSE.txt, jekyll-theme-leaf.gemspec, Gemfile, Gemfile.lock ]
