1. Milestone Reached — IOST Network Transactions Exceeded Ethereum In Just One Month
As of 6 April 2019, the IOST network hit an important milestone — it processed 580,231 transactions, exceeding Ethereum’s transaction volume of 558,272 by over 20,000 transactions!
2. BlockGroup Announced IOST Investment
BlockGroup, the parent company of BlockVC, announced the establishment of a $200 million M&A fund in the secondary market or high-quality blockchain assets strategic holdings, to enhance the project’s operating capital strength. BlockGroup disclosed its second investment target on April 1st — the world’s fourth largest DApp public chain platform IOST.
3. Cobo Supports IOST Dapps
As an IOST Partner, Cobo has now implemented full support of IOST Dapps. Users can now access all DApps on IOST through Cobo wallet.
4. IOST Foundation Embarks on Token Buyback and Lockup Program
On April 2nd, IOST Foundation announced start of buyback and lockup program in 2019. IOST Foundation plans to launch buyback programs on a regular basis in 2019 and 2020 to grow the IOST holdings of the Foundation and further serve as a long-term ecosystem incentive for investors and token holders.
IOST Foundation will also extend the Foundation token lockup program from 2018 into 2019. During this period, the tokens held by IOST Foundation will continue to be locked up (except for rewards for node partners, developers and various marketing campaigns).
