We are releasing a new minor version of our Pollen Testnet: v0.2.3. This update includes:
- Fixed synchronization issue due to a bug preventing to request missing messages more than once
- Fixed node’s dashboard explorer crashing or not properly visualizing the payload of a given message
- Improved Grafana dashboard by adding the support to the sync-beacon payload type as well as by displaying uptime and nodeID
- Fixed all linter issues to improve code quality
As for the previous release, this version bump resets the network as well as the Tangle DB.
Here, you can find instructions on how to set up or update your node.
We would like to thank all of our community members for being part of the Pollen testnet, for their support and feedback. We are also very excited about your active contribution, in particular, we thank Daniel Stricker for his tutorial on running a Pollen node (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vb2biHV-be4), mykarma for his small GoShimmer wallet PoC implementation (http://iota-plus.com/index.php/download/small-goshimmer-wallet-win/) and Tony Smith for his Pollen tester (https://github.com/smiffy2/pollenTester.git). Really great seeing this kind of engagement!
As always, we welcome your comments and questions either here on Medium or in the #tanglemath channel on our Discord. You can also join in the #goshimmer-discussion on Discord.
