The Qtum Foundation reports financial expenditures quarterly for transparency and openness with the community. This report covers 4Q 2020 and the full-year expenditures for 2020. Please check the references for the previous 2020 quarters.
4Q 2020 Expenditures
During the fourth quarter of 2020 (October, November, December) the Qtum Foundation spent 110.8 bitcoin, an average of 36.9 BTC per month. The monthly expenditures are shown below (the expenditure amount changes with Bitcoin price fluctuation).
Funds spent are further broken down into six categories. The biggest categories are for recurring expenses for Technology Development, Public Relations and Marketing, and Operation Costs. The non-recurring costs are smaller and consist of Compliance Costs, Business Development, and Technical Cooperation.
For the 4th quarter, these category percentages were Technology Development 89.2%, PR and Marketing 3.7%, Operations Costs 3.2%, Compliance Costs 0.0%, Business Development 2.7%, and Technical Cooperation 1.2%. The monthly expenditures in BTC by category were:
