The District Weekly — Sept. 19th
News and updates from the district0x Network
This past week we had a very special DeFi guest, 0xMaki of Sushi Swap on the Dapp Digest. If you are unfamiliar with Sushi Swap there is quite a bit of narrative to unravel over the past month. What began as an ingenious idea to transfer liquidity from Uniswap to the new Sushi Swap protocol, dubbed a vampire attack, ended up having Sushi Swap’s lead dev, Chef Nomi, selling off a major share of Sushi tokens, enraging the community, and in a stunning conclusion returning all of the funds that he sold. We were happy to get 0xMaki’s first hand account of the wild Sushi saga over the past month, and shed some more light on the sometimes dubious nature of the burgeoning DeFi space.
Additionally this past week we published our bi-weekly dev update, covering NFT’s and our continued research within DeFi. Have a great weekend!
