Our team has recently attended an event with a very appropriate name; the Barcelona Trading Conference (or BTC in short). It is sort of a historic event, because this is the first full-on crypto conference that’s been held by Finance Magnates who are very eminent in the world of conventional trading expos. Finance Magnates London Summit was one of the best conferences that our team had the pleasure of visiting, and while most of Finance Magnates events had crypto projects represented in some capacity it was exciting to see them create a separate crypto event this time around.
Despite it being the first year of the expo, it already had the likes of companies like Binance, CoinMarketCap, eToro and others. Similarly to Malta, the Barcelona Trading Conference also had representatives of the local government, such as the Vice President and Minister of Economy and Finance of Catalan, not only supporting the legislation and adoption of crypto, but working on setting the foundation of the necessary legal framework therein.
The Genesis Vision CEO Dmitry Nazarov had a chance to sit down with representatives of Binance as well as other crypto companies to have a discussion on the topic of institutional adoption. Dmitry had a lot to add to the conversation, since our project is in some sort dedicated to connecting crypto and conventional institutions. It is great to have a platform for a civil public forum where representatives of different companies can try solving this complex issue.
