Janna Zielinski joins The IOTA Foundation as Head of Strategic Projects, responsible for internal and external Business Model Innovation, and long-term collaboration models. She will support our collaborators in identifying market opportunities and business models, focusing on the adoption of the Internet of Things and Distributed Ledger Technologies. Together with the Board of Directors she will also develop future revenue models for The IOTA foundation.
With more than 5 years of Strategy and Digital Consulting experience, she is able to guide IOTA and its collaborators through the entire digital experience — from strategy definition, through pilot development to organizational set-ups and centers of excellence — approved in large corporates and startups simultaneously.
Prior to joining IOTA, Janna worked as a Digital Strategy consultant at EY, where she was responsible for and involved in several global projects at DAX 30 companies. Her main areas of focus were strategic definition, business impact analysis, technology development and organizational set-up of new teams, all related to new technologies, such as Robotics, AI and Blockchain.
Prior to EY, Janna gained deep hands-on experience in several tech startups and investors. She was responsible for a large variety of tasks, such as business plan development, market acquisitions, operational processes, and vertical definition, as well as their integration in existing service offerings. With her ability to professionally network, she is able to serve all relevant needs from different stakeholders.
On joining IOTA
I first found out about the tremendous business potential of IOTA during my Blockchain projects at EY and via my strategic consulting work for the founders at the beginning of 2018. The foundation has made rapid progress so far, both in terms of technology and organization, and I am excited to build on this and contribute to the success of the IOTA foundation.
